2007 Chihuly at the Phipps

We toured the Exhibit in the evening after visiting the Nationality Rooms. The
hand blown glass pieces were illuminated. They were beautiful. The colors of
the Murano glass were vibrant. You have to appreciate the years it takes to
perfect the craftsmanship it takes to produce such spectacular pieces of art.
As you will be able to tell from the photos below the pieces ranged from simple
to complex multipart large scale sculptures. The sculptures were displayed
amidst the different rooms at Phipps. They complimented & enhanced the
Botanical Gardens. The 1st photo is of the spectacular glass sculpture
hanging from dome in entrance of Phipps. Dale Chihuly gave this piece to
Phipps. Second photo is of another spectacular piece hanging in different
room. The photos right underneath photos 1 & 2 are close ups of them so you
